Your specific “billing date” for an order is generally based on the shipping date of the original order.
So, for example, if your toll box was shipped on May 17,
- both the first annual fee* will be charged on the 17th of the following month - that is, on June 17 -
- and for toll charges, we always review your customer file on the 17th of each month.
*For Premium Toll Boxes: first monthly fee
- If maut1 has received toll charges for your toll box by July 17, an invoice for these charges will be issued on July 17.
Please note: The transmission of toll charges from the toll operator to maut1 does not occur in real time but takes several weeks.
- If you used your toll box during your trip to Italy from July 10–13, it is perfectly normal if we cannot yet issue the corresponding invoice on your next individual billing date (July 17, as per “Billing Date”), since the toll charges from Italy have not yet been transmitted to us.
- The toll charges from July 10–13 may then be billed on August 17 or September 17 as part of an invoice from maut1.
Due to holidays and weekends, the billing date may vary by a few days.
In exceptional cases, we may bill you for your occured toll charges more than once a month.
In exceptional cases, billing may also take several months. - Business travelers, in particular, should therefore review this point before signing the contract.
