As soon as we receive a toll box, it may take up to four business days for our logistics department to process and register it. You will then receive an automatic confirmation of receipt via email.
As soon as we receive a toll box, the contract is automatically terminated - given you were not sent any repacement device within the corresponding contract, in which case the contract continues until you have returned the replacement toll box.
Please note that the customer is liable for the costs of blocking if a toll box is lost - including during return shipment.
We therefore recommend returning the device via postal service or DHL with a tracking number and keeping the shipping receipt until you have received a confirmation of receipt via email from maut1 for each toll box.
Please note: License plate registrations for digital services (e.g., parking in Germany) may need to be deactivated separately in the “Digital Services” profile area.
