Which Toll Box Can I Use in Austria?

Please note that we offer a range of products:

• 'Toll Box up to 3 m high' cannot be used in Austria
• 'Toll Box over 3 m high' can be used in Austria*
• 'Commercial Toll Box over 3 m and over 3.5 t' can be used in Austria*

ATTENTION: If the technically permissible maximum mass of the towing vehicle is no more than 3,500 kg according to the vehicle registration document, you do not need to carry a toll box in Austria; instead, you must purchase a (digital) vignette and, where applicable, the (digital) route toll. (e.g. via our partner mautwelt.de)

*: NOTE: Please ensure, where applicable, that the toll box is compatible for use in France if your vehicle actually weighs no more than 4,500 kg, is no higher than 3.05 m when measured without superstructures, and has no more than two axles.
