If your vehicle has an alcove that protrudes from the front edge of the vehicle, or if you have a roof rack that protrudes from the front, please note that these objects may interfere with the toll box signal, as they stand in the direct line of communication between the toll box and the toll station transmitters.
In this case, we would therefore recommend installing the toll box in the lower part of the windshield.
However, in any case, please check the specifications of your windshield and whether it has a metallic coating.
If your vehicle's windshield is additionally heated or otherwise coated with invisible metal, the toll box must be held out of the side window 50 m in front of the toll station and continuously from there until you have reached the barrier in order to establish the necessary signal in good time. (Exception: Austria, see “Split-GO-Box”)
