Accessibility Function (Deaf)

Modified on Mon, 23 Feb at 1:41 PM

The signal tone (beep) of the toll box is irrelevant in countries that are covered by the 'Toll Box up to 3 m high', which means that this toll box can also be used by deaf people without any problems.

Barriers open automatically when the toll box has been detected, and in other systems, the license plate on your vehicle is visually detected and assigned to your toll box via your registration with maut1.

The signal tone is intended to check the battery charge level if necessary. However, Maut1 will contact you automatically in good time before the battery runs out.
