Ownership - Is the Toll Box my Property?

The toll box remains the property of maut1 GmbH or rather the toll collector (see Terms and Conditions). You are contractually obliged to return the toll box to us at the latest when the battery needs to be replaced.

Please refrain from visually altering, breaking open, or otherwise damaging the toll box. (Replacing the battery yourself is pointless and will render the toll box unusable. If you have any problems using the device, please contact us).

Existing stickers, e.g., with the serial number of the toll box, must not be removed under any circumstances, and painting or writing on the toll box is also prohibited.

Otherwise, upon receipt of the returned toll box by maut1, either a cleaning fee (€ 10.00, according to the price list) or even a blocking fee (€ 40.00, according to the price list) may be charged.

Examples of situations in which a cleaning or blocking fee is incurred include adhesive residue from labels affixed by the customer, (residue from) writing with permanent markers or other pens.
