Small Toll Box with Rental Car

The 'Toll Box up to 3 m' can also be used with a rental car. Please enter your private car registration number when placing the order.

Please only change the license plate assignment of the toll box via our portal once you are in possession of the rental car and
Make sure that you change the license plate back to your private car in the portal as soon as you are no longer in possession of the rental car.

This will prevent you from having to pay the toll charges of the previous or subsequent renter (e.g. in Free-Flow Systems)

We recommend that you change the license plate number one day before your planned departure so that it is activated in all toll systems along the way.

If there is already a toll box installed in the rental car, please do as follows:

Please wrap the maut1.de toll box in aluminum foil and use the toll box provided in the rental car.
Keep the alternative vehicle's license plate (your own private license plate, vehicle which is not currently abroad) registered in your customer account.

Please manage Digital Services like 'Automatic Parking' separately in your customer account, if necessary.
